Tasty Cuisine in The Lake District
For Centuries The Grasmere Red Lion Hotel has been a haven for the traveller, with its tasty fare, great ale and warm hospitality.
Today we pride ourselves in offering traditional food in harmony with modern cooking. You’ll find a table d'hote menu offered every evening in the Courtyard Restaurant where the menu is depicted by the seasons and the fresh produce available. Our Chef will cater for any dietary requirements and is always happy to cook your favourite dishes (with a little notice of course).
You will find The Grasmere Red Lion an excellent place to unwind after a day of walking or sight seeing. The Easedale Bar, Four Seasons Conservatory and Helvellyn Lounge are tastefully decorated, and offer guests a comfortable spot to watch the world go by, enjoy a scrumptious snack at lunch time or a spot of afternoon tea.
A lively village pub is located next door – The Lamb Inn, where you can buy a fine pint of hand-pulled traditional beer. Bar meals satisfy even the heartiest of appetites. This is the place to meet locals and perhaps join in with a game of darts or pool. You’ll certainly enjoy the relaxing and convivial atmosphere of this traditional Lakeland pub. |
