Christmas Eve
Once you have settled in to your room join us for a traditional Cambrian afternoon tea served in the lounge and bar .For those of you that wish you can attend the popular Christingle service at St Mary's Church. Enjoy a pre dinner cocktail before we invite you into the restaurant for a candlelit dinner. Afterwards, relax unwind and enjoy the easy listening sounds of our singer Paul Dean.
Christmas Day
Our Victorian Breakfast is served in the Restaurant but keep a look out for a visit from the man himself Father Christmas. During the morning there'll be time to take a stroll around the village, or take dip in the hotel pool or hot tub before making your way to the Garden Room Restaurant for our superb Christmas Day Lunch complete with all the usual festive trimmings. After lunch relax or collapse in to a comfy arm chair with a cup of tea and home made ginger bread or shortbread and have a go at guessing the weight of the cake, a Salutation seasonal tradition.
The hand bell ringers will be making their ever popular visit during our Gala buffet, followed by our very own in house entertainment, traditional games and a Salutation book of quizzes to round off the day.
Boxing Day
After our American style breakfast it's time to board the bus to Waterhead to join in our celebrated and ever popular cruise on Lake Windermere where we will add our own unique twist on board the traditional lakes steamer the 'Tern'.
On our return there'll be a light lunch for you to enjoy, with the rest of the afternoon for you to spend at your leisure. After dinner it's time to re live the golden days of the ‘Rat Pack' with David Ford's American Legends tribute show, including ‘old blue eyes himself' Frank Sinatra.
27th December
After you have feasted on our hearty Cambrian breakfast this morning our package sadly ends and it's time to say goodbye, unless of course, you are able to stay on longer and extend your holiday with us.
Do take care on your journey home, and we hope it's not long till we see you again. |
