Christmas Eve
Once you have settled in to your room join us for a traditional Cambrian afternoon tea served in our lounges and bar where you can relax and settle in to your .For those of you that wish you can attend the ever popular Christingle service at the local church and enjoy carols by candlelight. Then join us and your fellow guest's for pre dinner drink in the lounge or bar, before our Christmas Eve meal is served in the restaurant. Afterwards, settle down and enjoy this evening's entertainment. For those wishing to attend Midnight Mass, times will be available at reception, or you may just wish to have a relaxing night in preparation of the big day ahead.

Christmas Day
Celebrate with our French style Brassiere breakfast which is served in the Restaurant but keep a look out for a visit from the man himself Father Christmas as he will have gifts for everyone. There will be time to take a stroll around the village, or a dip in the hotel pool or hot tub before our superb Christmas Day Lunch complete with all the usual festive trimmings. After lunch it's time for the Queen's speech, or a quick snooze (don't worry we won't tell anyone).You may prefer  just  to collapse in to a comfy arm chair with a cup of tea and home made ginger bread or shortbread and have a go at guessing the weight of the cake, a Salutation seasonal tradition.

The hand bell ringers will be making their ever popular visit during our Gala buffet, to make us all feel really Christmassy. Then it's time for you to try your hand at our in house quizzes or traditional board games or you may prefer just while away the night in one of our superb comfy lounges.

Boxing Day
Enjoy a Westmorland Farmhouse style breakfast this morning, along with the usual sumptuous breakfast buffet and sizzerling cooked breakfast keep your eyes peeled for a few additions. After breakfast it's time to board the bus to Waterhead to join in our ever popular cruise on Lake Windermere where we will add our own little unique twist on board the traditional lakes steamer. Alternatively why not pick up a walkers pack from reception and explore the highlands or lowlands of Ambleside there are some great walks from our doorstep. On our return from the cruise there'll be a light lunch for you to enjoy, with the rest of the afternoon for you to spend at your leisure. After dinner join your fellow guest's for a fabulous evening of music, dance and cabaret into the small hours. .

Friday 27th December 2013
After you have feasted on our hearty Cumbrian breakfast this morning our traditional Christmas  package sadly ends and it's time to say a fond farewell, unless of course, you are able to stay and take advantage of our fabulous 'Twixmas' rate of just £91.00 per person to include dinner or just £68 per person for bed and breakfast.
