Calling All You Budding Artists

Why not join us at the BEST WESTERN Ambleside Salutation Hotel for a whole week of painting in the heart of the beautiful English Lake District. We have teamed up with local watercolour artist Pauline Henderson to provide your tuition, Pauline teaches in and around Cumbria both from her home in Orton near Penrith and in nearby Appleby.

The course is suitable for all abilities ranging from absolute beginner to those who are already keen artists and members of art clubs.Pauline will start with the absolute basics and move on to teach various techniques - hopefully, by the end of the week, everyone will go home having learned a lot and with some finished work to be proud of.

Pauline has a relaxed and varied style and will be able to give individual tuition.So whether you are a beginner or an established artist we are sure you will enjoy our painting week. Combine a love of art and painting with the breathtaking scenery in the heart of the Lake District - England's most beautiful corner.

Arrive for Dinner on Sunday the 13th November 2011 and the course commences on Monday the 14th November, you can stay the full 5 nights or just have a mini break by staying 3 nights (Sunday, Monday Tuesday to include Wednesday's painting).

Day rates available at £17.50 per day to include painting tuition and tea and coffee. All rates are for a standard room for sole occupancy. Partners rates are £59.50 per night dinner bed and breakfast.

5 Night Break from: £322 per person : includes 4 full days painting - arrive Sunday13th November depart Friday 18th November 2011.

3 Night Break from £190 per person : includes 3 full days painting - arrive Sunday 13th November depart Wednesday 16th November (includes painting on the Wednesday).

Breaks include dinner, bed, breakfast , morning and afternoon tea and coffee painting tuition, and full use of our onsite leisure facilities.
