Parking for residents is available at the hotel at no charge. There is one car parking space per bedroom on site for residents. On approach there is a barrier system. Please pull up to the left hand side and wait for the green light before proceeding to enter. The car park is at the front, side and rear of the Hotel, with additional parking located along Stock Ghyll Lane. Should you require assistance please just pop in and we will gladly come and help. To exit the main car park a code is required. This is located inside your paper room charge card and can also be obtained from Reception.
On arrival at the hotel, please enter the hotel via the front door only. In-line with social distancing please await our reception team to greet you. The team will then provide you with a welcome envelope which will have enclosed a welcome letter, bedroom keys, breakfast & dinner menus and a registration form to sign and hand back to our team during your stay. Check in is from 3.00pm on the day of arrival . To help stop the spread of COVID-19 as well as checking into our hotel reservation system and inline with the Government requirements we request that you download the COVID-19 NHS and check yourself into the hotel when you arrive this QR code can be scanned at evert entrance door and at the reception desk and bar.
Check out is at 11am. On the morning of your departure a copy of your bill will be emailed to the address you provided us when you made your reservation. You will be able to review your bill at your leisure, you can then settle your account by using the secure link or at the reception desk. A key drop off point will be available for your room key. If you who will sanitize are a returning guest and have a loyalty card started, please hand this to our receptionists who will sanitize and clip your card for points. If you are a first time guest, our receptionists will be more than happy to clip a new card for you so you can gain your loyalty points.
CREDIT CARDS/ CHEQUES
We accept Maestro, Visa and MasterCard . Personal cheques can only be accepted if prior arrangements have been made. Where possible we will be encouraging contactless payment.
DINING We request that you book a slot breakfast and dinner for each day. Breakfast is served from 8.00am – 10.00am and our Lake Road Brassiere is open 5.30pm- 9.00pm.
If you have a disability please contact reception as we are able to provide a large magnifying
page to assist with reading the menus or other printed matter. We also have a portable induction loop and a vibrating alarm at reception. The disabled toilet can be located on the ground floor next to reception.
Should you require medical attention please call Ambleside Health Centre on 015394 32693 between 8.30am – 6pm. For all other emergencies, an ambulance or a doctor can be contacted on 999 or via Reception.

DOORS – (FRONT, LODGE & CAR PARK)
On arrival and during your stay, please use the ramp entrance to the hotel and observe social distancing where needed. The front door automatically locks between 9pm and 7.30am. Please use your key card to open the door between these times. The rear door remains locked at all times and can be opened by using your room key.
Entering and exiting the car park is via a bollard system that will automatically lower on entrance but only once the green light is on and exit via a code provided by reception.
We would request that some form of footwear is worn when using the restaurant/bar areas. In the evening we would ask that long trousers are worn.
