Booking Conditions

Saturday Nights: Bookings for one night stays on a Saturday are subject to availability and will incur a supplement charge of £20.00 per person. This will not appear on your email confirmation but will be added to your reservation.

Single Rooms: We have a limited number of  Club single rooms . 

Bank Holiday Weekends: (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) are charged at the High Season tariff, as is the period between Christmas and New Year.

Children’s Tariff: Children are always welcome in our family Club and Lakeland rooms from £37.00 per night supplement. There is no extra charge for children under 12 , children aged 12 – 15 are charged £9.95 per night which includes breakfast when sharing a family room.Children under the age of sixteen occupying there own rooms will be charged the adult tariff. Children under 5 years are not allowed in the restaurant, a children’s menu is available in the Bistro area from 5.30pm until 9pm.

Gratuities: Our guests have asked that this facility be added to our credit card machine for ease, as we are all moving  to a cashless society. On departure when paying by card, the card machine will automatically ask if you would like to add gratuities to your bill. This of course is totally discretionary and can be used or not used. Any gratuities are gratefully received and 100% will go to our team and will be equally split between all team members monthly.

Cancellation Cover: As our deposits are non-refundable, we offer our own cancellation cover (except for Christmas , New Year and Early Bird reservations). The cost is £10.00 per person, which guarantees the return of your deposit less an administration charge of £8.00.   If you would like to transfer your booking we will not make a charge and you can cancel on the day of arrival, with no questions asked, if you take out the hotels cancellation cover within 7 days of making your booking. If cancellation cover is not taken out we will only be able to offer to transfer your deposit with a £25 admin fee, and only then if it is 14 days prior to arrival. Any amendments or cancellation within 14 days of arrival will result in loss of your deposit.

Deposits: A non-refundable deposit to the value of the first night’s accommodation cost will be debited from your card number provided to secure the booking

Room Occupancy: It is assumed that rooms are booked for the maximum occupancy unless specified at the time of booking when a single supplement will be applicable. If this is not specified then a double occupancy rate will be charged for the room.

Amendments: If a booking is amended to fewer nights than the original booking was made for, we reserve the right to charge in full for the cancelled nights.

Discounts/Special Rates: If you wish to claim a discount, book on a special rate or use a voucher, this must be mentioned at the time of booking. Rates cannot be altered once the booking is made. Any vouchers must be handed in on check in. Offers/discounts can not be used in conjunction.

Leisure Facilities: Leisure Facilities will be open from 8.00am to 8.00pm. As there is no lifeguard on duty in the pool area, children under 18 must be supervised by an adult at all times. If an adult wished to swim alone, they must advise our hotel reception. Leisure slots must be booked in advance at Reception.



Spa Access
Children under the age of 16 are not permitted in the fitness rooms or pool area unless they are staying with us. Treatments are only available to clients aged 12 years and over. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. To ensure the privacy and comfort of our clients, only spa guests are permitted within the treatment areas. The use of mobile phones is not permitted. Smoking is not permitted in or around the Spa. Regrettably, we cannot accept responsibility for any property left unattended during your visit.

Appointment Times
We ask that you arrive fifteen minutes prior to your appointment to allow time to fill out a consultation form. As a courtesy to all our guests we do operate a prompt appointment schedule. A late arrival may mean that your treatment time is reduced, but you may still be charged the full price of the treatment. Please note all treatments include a short turnaround time, this allows for a consultation and dressing.

Medical Information
In order for us to advise you on the correct treatments, please make us aware of any pre-existing medical conditions that may affect your treatment options at the time of booking. Please inform the spa if you are pregnant as we offer specially designed treatments for expectant mothers. Please note pregnant clients must be 12 weeks and over before they can have some spa treatments. Doctor’s approval will be required for clients with certain medical conditions.

Spa Payment & Cancellation Policy

All prices are inclusive of VAT. Treatments are subject to availability. Full payment is required to secure any Spa treatment or Spa Day booking. These payments are strictly non-refundable but may be held for up to 3 months for future bookings if amended more than 7 day’s prior to the day of arrival. Bookings cancelled within 7 days of arrival or failure to show on the day will incur a 100% charge. Cancellation policies still apply when using a Gift Card.

Due to the usage of local and natural products, which are not mass-produced, treatments/packages and products may on occasion be subject to change without notice. In such cases and wherever possible an equivalent will be offered. In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your Spa experience, we ask that you raise any issues of concern immediately so that we may be given every opportunity to resolve them before you leave our spa. It is a condition of booking that all clients complete a consultation form prior to their treatment.

Gift Cards
It is the sole responsibility of the cardholder to book their treatment time in advance. Should the recipient wish to reassign their card, they may do so by notifying The Spa in advance. Gift Cards are non-refundable and non-redeemable for cash. They must be presented on the day of the scheduled appointment and are only valid for the specified period from date of purchase. We are unable to extend the life span of our Gift Cards which are valid for 12 months only.
