New Year’s Eve

Begin your New Year’s celebration in style with our Fizz & Fancies welcome reception. From 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, enjoy a selection of delicious cakes, muffins, and macaroons, accompanied by a glass (or two!) of Prosecco. Relax and unwind in the of our lounges, setting the tone for the evening ahead.

As the evening unfolds, join us for our Champagne and canapé reception before making your way to our restaurant for a magnificent gala dinner. During dinner, delight in the soothing sounds of harpist Anna-Kate, followed by an unforgettable cabaret performance from the talented Mr. Stephen Bayliss. As midnight strikes, our local pipers will welcome 2026 with their uplifting performance.

New Year’s Day

Start the day at your own pace with a leisurely late breakfast, a New Year’s tradition that lets you rise without any rush. Spend the rest of your day unwinding from the celebrations—whether that means enjoying a coffee in the lounge, taking a refreshing swim, or relaxing in the sauna.

If you’re in the mood for some fresh air, explore the breathtaking local scenery with a lakeside stroll or a walk up to the fell side. Alternatively, enjoy a complimentary trip to the cinema.

In the afternoon, indulge in a delicious New Year’s Cumbrian afternoon tea, served from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm in our bar and lounges. As evening approaches, join us for a tasty New Year’s Day buffet in the restaurant, accompanied by live musical entertainment to gently ease you into 2026.
